Here are just a few things I'll be working on in the near future... Baby boy gift set 3 flannel blankets Blanket (full size) 3 dolls 6 aprons mending some clothing and I'm sure about a million more things I can't remember at this moment
UPDATE: Yay! I was the winner of the cute owl on day 4. Woo hoo!!!
You may remember my post about the Lambie Pie doll I made using a pattern from Bit of Whimsy Dolls... well, they are doing an awesome Christmas in July giveaway right now.
The Never Ever Romper... as in never again will I make this out of knit. I love my sewing machine, but it just does not like knit fabrics! It is cute overall, but boy was it a pain in the neck to make!!!
Sometimes I just love to knit. The needles glide smoothly, the stitches flow freely and the yarn is just a delight to work with. My current project brings out my love of knitting.
Beautifully dyed 100% Montana Targhee Wool yarn from Mosaic Moonin the Coastal Sunset colorway.
I am knitting some shorties (wool diaper cover/shorts) for my son. The yarn is nice to work with and I love the bold colors.
I am more than half way through this pair. I am using the Itchy Fingers pattern, which I really like. I will definitely post a pic of these when they are finished.
My step-mom requested that I make some dolls for the little girls in our family. I found some really cute patterns on etsy and will be making these two designs: Lilly Lamb and Butterbean. I highly recommend the patterns from Bit of Whimsy, because they are easy to follow with plenty of photos. They are having a sale on their patterns and dolls right now. The sale is only through today, so hurry on over if you're interested!
I actually whipped one of these up last night for my cousin's daughter, Sadie. I used some scrap fabric from the bedding set I made her. I had a few issues, but am pretty excited to make some more of these dolls with what I've learned.
Her name is Lambie Pie, after a doll my cousins and I had from our grandparents.
