Sweaters

Now on a knitting kick, I have recently knit up these cute little sweaters... Jack Sweater  (made a size smaller than  the previous one ) for my son.  It fits him perfectly! Jill Sweater  (newborn size) - in case we have a baby girl The yarn used is ivory with specks of pink, brown & green.  I LOVE how this turned out! And of course a  Jack Sweater  (newborn size) - in case we have a baby boy

Cozy Car Caddies

I've been working on more birthday gifts for this year.  Since all of the little girl gifts are complete, I am focusing on little boy gifts.  I saw the idea for these cute little car holders at   Just Another Hang Up .  Using the dimensions from the Cozy Car Caddy Tutorial at Homemade by Jill, I made these... These are very quick and easy to make - would be perfect for a last minute birthday party gift.

Tote bags

I have been sewing up a storm lately and have created a total of 17 tote bags in the last 2 weeks!  I used this tutorial for the 1st bag I made, but then made some changes to the sizing for the rest.  These are really easy to make and (if using non-directional decor weight fabric) really quick, too. Here are some lined tote bags... Some child sized totes... And a few more of the little girl totes... I need to order some fabric online and then I will be making a few more totes for my mom to give as gifts.  I have almost all of the birthday gifts for the little girls and women in my family done for this year!  Next I'll be working on gifts for the little boys.
