Puzzle ball

After making a puzzle ball for part of a baby gift set, I decided to make another for my son.  These are neat little toys that can be made as big or small as you like.  I might try making some with jingle bells in them and with ribbon tags on the outer edges.  These are perfect for using up scrap fabric!  The pattern I used is from the book titled Last-Minute Patchwork + Quilted Gifts.

I love these puzzle balls. I've been meaning to make one for a long time now. Hopefully I'll get some time this summer

They really are quite fun and easy to make! If you don't have access to the book Last-Minute Patchwork + Quilted GIfts), you can try this free online tutorial here:http://sewing.about.com/od/babyshowergiftsewing/ss/babyball.htm

Have fun!
